Today is May 18th, 2012.

There will never be a shortage of demand for tutorial websites that’s technology related. This is because technology changes, improves, evolves every two to three years. And so tutorial websites will always have the audience it needs as long as they have great content and can be found on the top pages of search engines. More and more internet users are getting savy as well when it comes to technology. That’s because internet technology is also getting easier to use. you can now create your own website without ever to learn how to program. So in the current internet trends that we have today here are a few suggestions for a tutorials website:

1. Facebook pages. Individual and companies are setting up Facebook pages. It’s like having your own web presence in Facebook where you can structure the way information is presented your way – well, almost. You can post pictures, videos, feeds, comments, text, etc. You can also have an opt-in page if you want to build your email list. It also comes with its own scripting called FBML or Facebook Mark Up Language. So there is something to learn. And with 750 million users, you can never go wrong – as long as they can find your tutorial.

2. Twitter integration. Let’s face it. Any website that has an API (Application Programming Interface) is tutorial-worthy. Or any website where you can integrate with another website (i.e WordPress websites) is also a winner. And that’s how it is with Twitter at the moment. There are sites that when a post is created needs to be Tweeted automatically. Or you can show how to use the API so that tech savy individuals can create their own application.

3. RockMelt. This is the new browser that can integrate with social media websites. Watch out for this one. Most likely it will allow for the development of plugins and thus, have an API as well.

4. Google+. Although still in beta stages this one will have a lot of punch as it is planned to integrate with the Google suite of products.

5. ChromeOS. It’s not too late to get in the bandwagon of tutorial websites on ChromeOS. This technology is still in its infancy.

These are just a few suggestions and if you look around and read around, there are other potential technologies where you can start creating your own tutorial site.
