Frontpage Slideshow

If you want a different slideshow where you can put text and images then it’s worth totake a look at Frontpage Slideshow. This slideshow let’s you have text on the right side for each article posted and then have the image as the main centerpiece. If yourwant to have a different post title in your slideshow then using this WordPress plugin makes it possible.

It’s quite easy to use as well and there are a lot of configuration options. And the good thing about the configuration options is that they are all organized into logical panels that are collapsable. So once you have installed and activated the plugin, you can go to the Settings panel and click on Frontpage slideshow. Once you are on the configuration page you should see the following panels:

  • How to use
  • In case of trouble / getting help
  • Preview
  • Disable the plugin
  • About inserting the slideshow
  • About categories and posts
  • About slides and buttons
  • About durations and transitions
  • About default link and comment
  • About sizes, positions and corners
  • About colors and opacities
  • About background images / textures and loader Animation
  • About template
  • Reset preview or plugin

Do you want to change the width and the height of the slideshow? No problem just go to the About sizes, positions and corners panel. Once you have set all the settings, click on the Save the settings and apply them immediately button found below. And then you can go to the Preview panel where a shortcode is provided for you should you wish to specify a specific page where the slideshow should be.
