Today is May 18th, 2012.

What’s a blog or a website without an image? It would be quite dull and boring if you encounter a website without a single image to catch your attention. Some blogger would go to websites that offer free images and they publish them on their websites because they know that it get’s their viewer’s attention. And it makes their websites more attractive.

But gone are the days where you search for a free image website, download the image, then upload it to your blog because now there is the Freebie Images plugin. It’s a plugin that’s got its own website and it is being supported by Crestock, a visual content provider. It’s easy to use and they provide high quality images as shown below.

The beauty about this plugin is that it is free; you can search images while writing your post (the panel is found on the right hand side fo your WordPress editor); and the images to use are for free as well. The Freebie Images panel contains a search feature where you can provide a search term, click the Search button and then it shows a gallery of images related to your search term. When you hover over an image in the gallery, the picture enlarges so that you can see more details.

It also has an advance search feature. You can filter according to File types and Image orientation (i.e. panoramic, horizontal, etc.). All it takes is for you to click the filter that you want to use, type the search term and click the Search button.

With less downloading and uploading, blogging suddenly became a breeze.
