Today is May 18th, 2012.

Android is the buzzword when it comes to smartphones and is Google’s answer to Apple’s iOS for the iPhone. It now has overtaken the iPhone in terms of sales. That’s because Google licenses Android to phone manufacturers for free! And the code is open source which gives a lot of flexibility to the manufacturers in order for it to work seamlessly with their smart phones. This is why an android tutorial website is a sure fire winner. Let’s face it – Google wants to conquer the online world. And it’s conquering it in many fronts – through your desktop and through mobile. The only front that is missing is through a gaming console. But that shouldn’t matter as Google already has its hands full with a lot of projects with Google+ as being the newest of them all.

Google has a lot of properties on the web and the goal for them is to have them all integrated into one user login. And most likely that will be with Google+. So a smartphone integration with all Google services is in the cards and this opens up a lot of opportunities to make an Android tutorial website. This means that you can never run out of tutorials to publish. Even if you do run out of topics in this space, you’ll never run out if you branch towards Android apps. Just recently Amazon opened and Androids app store even though Google has its own app store. But the point is you can
also cover apps that adds value to an Android smartphone.

Having a look at Google trends, we have done a comparison between WordPress and Android and the trend for the latter one is a steep curve going upwards while the trend for WordPress looks like a ramp towards one’s driveway. they are both trending upwards but the trend with Android is just becoming unbelievable. This means that more and more searches are being made for the word Android in Google search. This also indicates that there is a lot of interest and demand out there for Android as well. Not surprising considering Google’s a trusted brand worldwide. It’s a company that always tries to portray itself as a do-no-evil company. It’s given Google for free, Android for free, Google Docs for free, Youtube for free, etc. That’s what makes the company so likeable – and profitable.

With new technology such as Android it’s always for certain that someone will do a search wanting to know how to activate certain features on their smartphone. Here are just some of them:

- how to download and activate new ring tones
- how to send multi-media files
- how to upload files on smartphone to PC
- how to upgrade Android in smartphone
- how to use voice activation
- etc.

The topics can be as many as the features are – ten fold! And here’s the good news: by 2016 everyone in the world will have a mobile phone where half of the population will have smartphones. This is predicted by a Ericsson – who are a mobile phone manufacturer. That’s really astounding! And with Android given for free, it will not be surprising if the majority of mobile phone makers would have installed Android on their products. And this makes a tutorial website on Android as real winner.
